When employees start their pursuit of parenthood, they need resources at every stage of their journey. PL Marketing recognizes the complexities of fertility and pregnancy. This benefit is part of our medical plan coverage and is administered through our medical plan and pharmacy provider. Eligibility requires enrollment in the medical plan; it is not a separate company benefit.
Infertility is a common issue that is understandably emotional and stressful. Your focus should be on you rather than having to figure out your medical benefits. To help fulfill your dream of starting a family, our medical plan provides coverage for a variety of treatments. The PL Marketing benefits program provides a total of $5,000 for infertility treatment, $2,500 for medical and $2,500 for infertility treatment drugs.
Infertility can present itself in a variety of ways. Iatrogenic infertility can result from medical procedures and treatments. A $20,000 combined lifetime benefit is provided for:
- Iatrogenic infertility: process of saving or protecting eggs, sperm, or reproductive tissue so that a person can use them to have children in the future
- PGT: Test used to determine if genetic disorders are present in embryos produced through In-Vitro Fertilization
