Cincinnati Cancer Advisors’ Mission is to reduce the emotional and financial burden of a cancer diagnosis by helping patients improve their treatment plans. In partnership with the Patient Advocate Foundation, they offer a no-cost Financial Navigation Program for cancer patients in the Greater Cincinnati area. The program helps patients understand insurance coverage, enroll in benefits and social programs, resolve insurance and billing issues (including pre-authorizations and appeals), and reduce financial strain through charitable and community resources.

Cincinnati Cancer Advisors also provide expert, unbiased second opinions and in-depth research across many cancer types. While second opinions often cost $2,000 or more and aren’t usually covered by insurance, the organization covers these costs for eligible patients in the region through its Foresight program, making these services free to patients.
